The Goulburn Mums Club

Connection • Support • Education

A weekly space for local mums to connect, learn, reflect, and remember they're not doing motherhood alone.

Motherhood can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. It can also be exhausting, overwhelming, isolating, and all-consuming.

The Goulburn Mums Club was created as a space where mums can step away from the demands of everyday life, connect with other local women, and spend time focusing on themselves for a change.

Whether you're looking for friendship, support, personal growth, or simply a reason to get out of the house and connect with other mums, we'd love to welcome you.

Are you a mum that's experiencing the following?

✔️You're new to the area and would love to make genuine friendships with other local mums

✔️ You spend so much time caring for everyone else that you've forgotten to make time for yourself

✔️ You miss having meaningful conversations and genuine adult connection

✔️ You're feeling lonely, disconnected, or looking for a community where you truly belong

✔️ You've been struggling with social anxiety or confidence and would like a safe, supportive way to connect with others

✔️ You often feel like you're carrying the mental load of motherhood alone

✔️ You're looking for meaningful things to do with a great group of local women

✔️ You're a new mum and would love to share the journey with women who understand

✔️ You want to prioritise your own wellbeing, personal growth, and happiness

✔️ You're looking for connection, support, encouragement, and friendship with women who simply get it

If you found yourself nodding along to even one or two of these, The Goulburn Mums Club was created with women like you in mind.

You don't need to be struggling.

You don't need to know anyone.

You don't need to be confident or outgoing.

You don't need to have it all figured out.

You simply need to come as you are.

What is The Goulburn Mums Club?

The Goulburn Mums Club is a weekly gathering for local mums who are looking for connection, support, personal growth, and community.

Each session explores a different topic relevant to motherhood, wellbeing, relationships, identity, family life, and the challenges many women face behind closed doors.

Sessions combine meaningful conversations, practical insights, guided reflection, and genuine connection with other local mums.

There is no membership and no long-term commitment.

Simply book the sessions that interest you and attend as often as you'd like.

Come for the topic.

Stay for the community.

What Happens At A Session?

Every session is designed to feel relaxed, welcoming, and easy to participate in.

Whether you're naturally outgoing or feeling nervous about attending for the first time, you'll be warmly welcomed.

Each session runs for around one hour.

1. Welcome & Connection

We begin with a simple icebreaker or conversation starter to help everyone settle in and get to know one another.

2. Weekly Theme

Each week focuses on a different topic relevant to motherhood, wellbeing, relationships, personal growth, or family life.

3. Guided Reflection

Through discussion, activities, prompts, or reflection exercises, you'll have an opportunity to explore the topic in a way that feels meaningful and practical.

There is never any pressure to share more than you're comfortable sharing.

4. Practical Takeaway

Each session finishes with a practical idea, strategy, challenge, or reflection to support you throughout the week.

5. Community

Most importantly, you'll spend time in a room full of women who understand that motherhood can be beautiful, messy, joyful, exhausting, rewarding, and incredibly hard - all at the same time.

About Your Facilitator

Hi, I'm Claire.

I'm an accredited counsellor, the founder of Oakstead Therapy, and a local mum myself.

I work with women, mothers, couples, and families every day, supporting them through challenges such as anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, relationship difficulties, identity shifts, parenting challenges, and major life transitions.

While counselling can be incredibly valuable, I've also seen firsthand how powerful connection and community can be.

Sometimes what we need most is a room full of people who understand.

People who reassure us that we're not the only ones feeling this way.

People who remind us that we're doing better than we think.

I created The Goulburn Mums Club to provide a space where local mums can connection, learn, reflection, and feel supported.

My goal isn't to teach you how to be a parent.

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, encouraged, and reminded that you're not alone.
